Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton will start the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from first position.

In the qualifying session, the Briton was 0.036 seconds ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. The third result was shown by team mate of “Mercedes” Valtteri Bottas.

Note that for Lewis Hamilton pole position was 100th in his career in Formula 1. He leads by a huge margin among all the pilots in history – the second in this list, Michael Schumacher, 68 victories in qualifications.

Note that the start of qualification was delayed by 10 minutes due to the repair of obstacles in one of the turns of the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix track.
