The leadership of Formula 1 has officially announced the cancellation of the Turkish Grand Prix, which was supposed to take place in June.

The stage will not take place due to restrictions associated with the difficult situation with coronavirus in the country.

Turkey was included in the “red list” in the UK, because of this, many teams during the Grand Prix would have come under strict quarantine restrictions.

Because of this, the French Grand Prix will take place a week earlier (June 18-20), and in Austria there will be two stages in a row (June 25-27 and July 2-4).
